PRODUCT FEATURES
Full Editing FunctionHigh Speed/Picture Search - 5 times normal speed in color and up to 16 times normal speed in monochrome in both forward and reverseBuilt-in Time Base CorrectorBuilt-in Time Code Generator/ReaderRS-422A serial interface (9-pin)Y/R-Y/B-Y Component Video Signal Input/OutputComposite Video Signal Input/OutputS-video Signal Input/OutputSelf DiagnosticsThis feature provides a recognizable picture at various speeds over a range of up to five times normal speed in color and up to 16 times normal speed in monochrome both in forward and reverse. When connected to RS-422A equipped editing controllers such as the PVE-500 the UVW1800 functions as an editing recorder for assemble or insert editing. Frame accurate editing is assured in both modes thanks to the sophisticated servo control and built-in time code generator/reader. In the insert mode video audio CH-1 audio CH-2 and time code can be inserted independently or in any combination. In the assemble mode all of the prerecorded signals are erased and replaced with new signals.Provides stable pictures without any additional equipment. Advanced high-quality digital dropout compensation also ensures consistent picture performance. The Betacam SP format has an independent time code track so that a longitudinal audio track does not have to be sacrificed for time code. The time codes conform to the SMPTE standard in which LTC and User-bits are provided. LTC is used to identify the absolute address of a frame while User-bits are reserved for operator's use. Frame accurate A/B roll editing is possible using the LTC.Luminance: 1.0 Vp-p 75 sync negativeChrominance: AM - More than 52dB - PM - More than 52dBPower requirements: AC 90 to 132 V 48 to 64 HzOperating temperature: 5oC to 40oC (41oF to 104oF)Storage temperature: -20 oC to 60 oC (-4oF to 140oF)Humidity: Less than 80% (relative humidity)Tape speed: 118.6 mm/sFast forward time: Less than 3 min with UVWT-90MLARewind time: Less than 3 min with UVWT-90MLAColor difference: R-Y:0.7Vp-p 75 B-Y:0.7Vp-p75K-factor (2T pulse): Less than 3%Y/C delay: 100 nsFrequency response: 50Hz to 12.5kHz +2.0 -3.0dBS/N ratio (at 3% distortion level): More than 70dBS-VIDEO OUT: Y:1.0VP-P 75 - C:0.286Vp-p (burst) 75REMOTE IN/OUT: 9-pin femaleHEADPHONES: JM-60 headphone stereo jackRecording/playback time: More than 90 min with UVWT-90MLA More than 30 min with UVWT-30MAS-VIDEO IN: Y:1.0VP-P 75 - C:0.286Vp-p (burst) 75TBC REMOTE: 15-pin maleVideo level: 3 dBChroma level: 3 dBSetup level: 0 to + 15 IREHue: 15oSystem SC phase: 360o p-p*3System sync phase: -1 to +3s*4Distortion T.H.D.(at 1kHz reference level): Less than 1.5%Power Consumption: 85WSearch speed (with optional SVRM-100) *1: SHUTTLE 15 steps still to 16 times normal speed forward and reverse - JOG Frame by frame forward and reverseBandwidth Luminance (50% modulation): 30 Hz to 4.0 MHz +1.0 -4.0dBColor difference (50% modulation): 30 Hz to 1.5 MHz +1.0 -4.0dBS/N ratio - Luminance(Component IN/OUT): More than 49dBWow and flutter(DIN45507): Less than 0.18% rmsREF VIDEO IN (BNC): 1.0vp-p 75VIDEO IN (BNC): Composite video 1.0Vp-p 75 sync negativeAUDIO IN CH-1/2 (XLR 3-pin female): +4DbU *2 600/10K Selectable balancedTIME CODE IN (BNC): 0.5v to 18Vp-p 600VIDEO OUT 1 (BNC): Composite video 1.0Vp-p 75 sync negativeVIDEO OUT 2 (BNC): Composite video 1.0Vp-p 75 sync negative with or without character insertionAUDIO LINE OUT (XLR 3-pin male) CH1/2: +4dBu 600 balancedAUDIO MONITOR OUT (Phono) CH1/2: -6 dBuTIME CODE OUT (BNC): 2.2Vp-p 600CONTROL/s: Mini jackLuminance: 1.0Vp-p 75 sync negativeY/C delay: 100 nsY/C delay: Less than 30Color difference: R-Y:07Vp-p 75 B-Y:0.7Vp-p 75Additional Detailed Information:FEATURES:Full Editing Function:When connected to RS-422A equipped editing controllers
