The DSR-500WSL is a Widescreen DSP Camcorder - 2/3 inch. The DSR-500WSL features full Digital Signal Processing utilizing the latest generation LSI technology complete Software Control over all the DSP parameters i.Link output 26 pin output and options for pool feed and ClipLink capability. When combined with the RCP-TX7 remote control panel the DSR-500WS can be used in a small studio environment. The DSR-500WS becomes a formidable advanced digital news gathering tool when allied with RM-VJ1 video-journalist microphone. The revolutionary 16:9 aspect ratio 2/3" 520K pixel Power HADŌ CCDs with switchable aspect ratio and the capability of using standard(up to 3 hours) or mini(up to 40 minutes) DVCAM/DV tape this camcorder is in a class by itself. The DSR-500WS joins the DSR-300 as an extension to the growing line of DVCAM products.
